Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered what seemed to be one of the highlights of the night in the NBA with a heroic game-tying 3-pointer from well beyond the arc in the dying seconds of Wednesday’s Thunder-Pelicans game. Just seconds later, Gilgeous-Alexander was one upped by a miraculous heave from New Orleans’ Devonte’ Graham to steal the win in OKC.
With the game tied at 110-110, the Pelicans had just 1.4 seconds to bring the ball upcourt and get a shot off. Graham received a pass near the foul line and didn’t even try to make it to half-court, instead launching a Hail Mary shot from the opposing 3-point line that banked in to win the game.
