The Brooklyn Nets‘ losing streak is finally over. After 11 consecutive losses, a new-look Brooklyn lineup featuring recent arrivals Seth Curry and Andre Drummond took control early at home against Sacramento and built on their lead in the second half, cruising to a 109-85 win on Monday night.
Curry led the Nets with 23 points on 10-of-18 shooting, a returning LaMarcus Aldridge scored 19 points in 19 minutes off the bench, and Drummond had an active night, finishing the game with 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block.
Perhaps most impressively, Monday’s win was the first time Brooklyn has held a team under 100 points since November 17, and the first time they’ve held a team under 90 points all season long.
Here’s what fans and analysts had to say about the Nets’ big win.
