NBA Twitter reacts to the Lakers’ abysmal performance in loss to Pelicans

The Lakers’ season hit a new low on Sunday with a blowout loss at home to New Orleans.

The Lakers suffered another demoralizing loss at Crypto.com Arena in a nationally televised game on Sunday night as CJ McCollum and the New Orleans Pelicans dominated, blowing out the Lakers by 28 points.

The Lakers were booed by their own fans and roasted on social media for a listless performance, as the Lakers failed to match the Pelicans’ effort level and struggled to execute.

Los Angeles lost the turnover battle by eight, and squandered any chance of a comeback in the third quarter, which New Orleans won 44-25.

LeBron James finished the game with 32 points and six rebounds, but was -22 on the night in terms of plus/minus. Only Russell Westbrook had a worse plus/minus figure, at -26.
