NBA Twitter reacts to Steph Curry dropping 47 points vs. Wizards to celebrate his birthday

After Steph Curry celebrated his 34th birthday with 47 points in a blowout win over the Wizards, NBA Twitter exploded with different reactions.

While it was coined “Dray Day” in the Bay Area with the long-awaited return of Draymond Green on the way against the Washington Wizards, Monday also celebrated the birthday of Steph Curry.

To celebrate his 34th birthday, the two-time Most Valuable Player caught fire against the Wizards at San Francisco’s Chase Center. Curry torched the Wizards for 47 points on 16-of-25 shooting from the field with six boards, six assists and a steal in 35 minutes. Curry poured on 13 of his points in the final quarter alone to help seal the Warriors’ victory over the Wizards, 126-112.

In signature fashion, Curry drilled seven triples on 19 attempts from beyond the arc.

While Curry tallied his second-highest scoring mark of the 2021-22 campaign, his long-time teammate returned to the court for the first time in 31 games. In an appearance off the bench, Green tallied six points on 2-of-4 shooting from the field with seven boards, six assists in 20 minutes. Green finished the contest with a game-best +24.

Following Curry’s dazzling performance with Green back on the court, the NBA Twitter community exploded with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Monday night.
