NBA Twitter reacts to Lakers’ double-digit win vs. Hawks

See what NBA Twitter had to say after the Los Angeles Lakers controlled both ends of the floor against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Los Angeles Lakers assembled a strong performance at both ends of the court to conquer the Atlanta Hawks on Friday for a 16-point win.

Atlanta’s performances have fluctuated due to players entering and exiting the league’s health and safety protocols, but Trae Young, John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanovic were in the lineup to face L.A.

The Lakers did their homework, though, and held Young to 8-of-21 shooting, including a 1-of-7 clip from downtown. L.A. made timely blitzes and forced Young to get rid of the ball before the defenders exited the blitz and began rotating.

Then, the Lakers posted a 50/41.5/89.5 (floor/3-point/free throws) shooting split, which is about as good as it gets. LeBron James (32), Malik Monk (29), Avery Bradley (21) and Talen Horton-Tucker (21) all produced in a big way offensively.
