NBA Twitter reacts to James Harden, Sixers beating Celtics in Game 4

NBA Twitter reacts to James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers knocking off the Boston Celtics in a thriller in Game 4.

The Philadelphia 76ers were in trouble on Sunday when they played host to the Boston Celtics in Game 4. The Sixers were going to be in either a 2-2 tie heading back to the TD Garden or they’d be staring down elimination. Sunday was essentially a do-or-die moment.

They almost let it slip away. Philadelphia led by 16 in the second half but made numerous mistakes that allowed the Celtics to take a 105-100 lead with 2:03 left. It looked like it would be another missed opportunity for the Sixers.

Then, their future Hall of Famer came to the rescue. James Harden had 42 points on 16-for-23 shooting, and he forced overtime with a tough floater and then he ended up winning the game with a triple in overtime. The Sixers earned a 116-115 overtime win and Joel Embiid had 34 points and 13 rebounds in support.
