NBA Twitter reacts to Draymond Green’s triple-double performance in Warriors’ win vs. Kings

See what fans and analysts from NBA Twitter were saying about Draymond Green’s triple-double during the Warriors’ win over the Kings on Monday.

After a four-game road swing that ended with a loss to the Toronto Raptors, the Golden State Warriors got a day off before returning to San Francisco for a contest against their Northern California rival, the Sacramento Kings.

With the shorthanded Kings in town, the Warriors bounced back to the win column with a commanding victory, 113-98.

Steph Curry led the way with his second consecutive 30 point performance on 13-of-27 shooting from the floor with four assists, three rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes. Golden State’s Most Valuable Player candidate got especially hot in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 of his points in the final frame. Curry drilled three triples in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for the Warriors.

While Curry heated up, Draymond Green added his first triple-double effort of the season. The Warriors forward recorded 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and two blocks. Monday’s contest was Green’s 31st career triple-double performance.

With Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole in the league’s health and safety protocol, Green’s triple-double, along with 18 points from Damion Lee helped provide the offense the Warriors needed with two of their top scorers out.

After the Warriors improved to 25-6 on the season behind Curry and Green, the NBA community on Twitter weighed in with different reactions. Here is a look at what fans and analysts were saying about Curry, Green and the Warriors on Monday night.
