One of the interesting subplots so far in the first-round NBA playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies is the chippy nature of the matchup between LeBron James and Dillon Brooks.
Brooks jawed at James throughout Memphis’ Game 2 win on Wednesday, then dismissed him as “old” after the game.
But James has been getting his vengeance in Game 3. He got off to a strong start, and Brooks responded by hitting him in the groin early in the third quarter, which resulted in a flagrant 2 foul and ejection for the Grizzlies forward.
Fans took to Twitter to throw shade at Brooks.
