NBA teaming up with ESPN to televise a H-O-R-S-E competition

The NBA has been in discussion with the sports network and the NBPA about bringing the classic game to fans across the United States. The competition would likely be held in home gyms as the players would be in different locations due to social distancing guidelines.

With details of the H-O-R-S-E competition still being finalized, it is unclear which players would be interested in participating but it would provide an opportunity for fans to see the players’ creative side and which shots they can come up with.

The NBA has worked to help provide entertainment to fans around the world with various fitness programs and social media challenges. On Friday, the NBA and 2K launched the NBA 2K Players Only Tournament that broadcast on ESPN.
