Seven former University of Tennessee basketball players concluded play in the NBA’s MGM Resorts summer league in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Former Volunteers who played in the league this summer included: Kyle Alexander (Phoenix); Jordan Bone (Indiana); Jordan Bowden (Brooklyn); Keon Johnson (Los Angeles Clippers); Yves Pons (Memphis); Admiral Schofield (Atlanta) and Jaden Springer (Philadelphia).
Johnson and Springer were both first-round picks in the 2021 NBA draft. Pons was not drafted, but signed a contract to play for Memphis.
