Kevin Durant is having his best season shooting the ball. The two-time NBA Champion is shooting 47% from three and 54% from the field overall. His efficiency is unreal and Durant is doing this coming off of an achilles injury. Many players around the league have been raving about the Nets forward as of late in appreciation of his greatness.
Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers said on Reddit AMA that KD “can do it from anywhere on the floor. I’ve won some battles, he’s won some battles, but having to guard him is tough.”
Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard chimed in on the Dan Patrick Show to say, “I think KD healthy could very well be the best player in the NBA. I mean nobody can guard him — The way he handles the ball, the way he moves at that size, who are you going to put on him?”
Last but not least, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, got the best out of Kevin Durant after his team beat the Nets on May 2nd. Despite this, Antetokounmpo couldn’t help but to give KD his props after the game: “The way he handles the ball and gets to his spot is unbelievable — The best I’ve seen in my life. I look up to him. I’m not gonna lie.” Kevin Durant aims to make more noise as the postseason commences soon.
This will most likely not be the last of what you hear about Durant from his peers this season.
