With the regular season complete, the No. 3 seed Golden State Warriors are set to meet the No. 6 seed Denver Nuggets in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.
Prior to the start of the playoffs, all the attention will be on Steph Curry’s availability. The eight-time All-Star missed the final 12 games of the regular season due to a left foot injury.
If he is available to start the playoffs, game one will mark the first time Curry will be on the floor with Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala for the first time since the 2019 NBA Finals.
With or without Curry, the Warriors will have to find a way to slow down reigning Most Valuable Player and current candidate for a back-to-back campaign Nikola Jokic. The 7-foot-3 Serbian is averaging 27.1 points on 58.3% shooting from the field with a career-high 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists per contest.
Before the Warriors host the Nuggets for game one in San Francisco, below is a look at the full schedule for the first round of the Western Conference playoff series.
