Former University of Tennessee basketball player Grant Williams made his second postseason start Thursday in Boston.
The former two-time Southeastern Conference player of the Year and 2019 first-round draft pick was held scoreless. The Celtics squandered a late lead, losing to defending NBA champion Milwaukee, 110-107, at TD Garden in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The third-seeded Bucks, who trailed, 105-102, closed the game with an 8-2 run. Milwaukee has a 3-2 lead in the series over No. 2 Boston.
Williams recorded two rebounds and one assist for the Celtics.
The series resumes Friday at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. EDT and ESPN will televise the contest.
