Eastern Conference Round 2, Game 6: Bucks at Nets (3-2):
After exploding for 49 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a game five victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in Brooklyn, Kevin Durant needed just one more victory on the road to punch a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals.
However, Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t want their season to come to an end. The duo combined for 68 of Milwaukee’s 104 points. Jrue Holiday was the only other member of the Nets to score in double figures.
Middleton led the Bucks against the Nets in game six with 38 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the floor with 10 boards, five assists and five steals in 42 minutes. Antetokounmpo tallied 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field with 17 rebounds and three assists on the way to a Milwaukee victory in game six, 104-89.
For Brooklyn, Kevin Durant recorded a team-high with 32 points on 15-of-30 shooting from the field with 11 rebounds and three assists in 40 minutes against the Bucks. Yet it wasn’t enough to end Milwaukee’s season.
