Eastern Conference Round 1, Game 3: Knicks at Hawks:
After trading haymakers in the first two games between the Knicks and Hawks, the tied series shifted to Atlanta for game three.
During the first two games, Former Warrior Alec Burks provided a spark off the bench for the Knicks, scoring in double-figures in each game, including 27 points in game one. On Friday, the veteran wing tallied eight points on 2-of-8 shooting from the floor with two boards and two assists in 23 minutes.
After moving to the starting lineup, Derrick Rose scored a game-high 30 points on 13-of-21 shooting from the floor for the Knicks. However, the Hawks’ offense came out cooking at home on Friday.
While Trae Young notched 21 points on 8-of-19 shooting from the floor, six other members of the Hawks scored in double-figures to seal a victory, 105-94. The Hawks now control the series 2-1. Game four is set for Sunday at 10 a.m. PT.
