The highly-anticipated documentary chronicling the Chicago Bulls’ 1997-98 championship season, the final of their dynasty, returned on Sunday night with Episodes 5 and 6 of the 10-part miniseries.

The fifth episode began with an appearance by the late Kobe Bryant when he squared off against Michael Jordan in the 1998 NBA All-Star Game. Bryant spoke briefly about facing Jordan and offered a response to those that wanted to compare him to Jordan.

“I truly hate having discussions about who would win 1-on-1,” Bryant said. “You heard fans saying, ‘Hey, Kobe, you’d beat Michael 1-on-1,’ and I feel like, ‘Yo, what you get from me is from him.'”

A variety of topics were covered following the appearance by Bryant, from the 1992 Dream Team to the decision by Jordan to sign with Nike over Adidas. Regardless of the subject, the documentary set off Twitter with NBA players, past and present, weighing in on the festivities.

Episodes seven and eight of “The Last Dance” will air on May 10 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN.
