The NBA is reportedly looking at hosting some sort of Draft Combine event with prospects during the last week of August at the Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.

Multiple teams told ESPN that the discussions are underway for some sort of draft event to be held in Orlando. The event would mirror that of a traditional Draft Combine setting, which would include medical testing, interviews and, potentially, measurements.

The NBA announced last week that the Draft Lottery would be held on Aug. 25 while the Draft will take place on Oct. 15. The NBA has not yet made an official decision on the Draft Combine but there has been consideration for holding it virtually and, now, in some form in Orlando.

The belief is workouts and scrimmages would not take place should an event be held in Orlando, though the exact format is still being discussed. Teams believe the NBA will want to see how the first few weeks go in Orlando once the season restarts on July 31 before making a definitive decision.

The NBA is still finalizing the details for the season restart in Orlando so the events surrounding the Draft are likely secondary at the moment until the season gets underway.
