For the first time this postseason, the Miami Heat face a potential elimination scenario after losing Game 4 to the Los Angeles Lakers to fall to a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals.

Unfortunately for the Heat, they are not favored to win Game 5, either.

The Heat will enter the contest Friday as 7.5-point underdogs, according to BetMGM, and will likely be without Goran Dragic once again due to a left foot injury. Dragic attempted to play in Game 4 but determined he was unable to go after participating in pre-game warmups.

Jimmy Butler said Thursday that “a lot more” is needed from him for the Heat to have a chance to win. The Heat have said they like the position they are in and that they don’t feel the pressure of having to win to stay alive but they will face a tough task in slowing down L.A.

Meanwhile, the Lakers will be looking to win their 17th championship on Friday and will hit the court wearing their “Black Mamba” jerseys, which were designed by the late Kobe Bryant. The Lakers are 4-0 in games when wearing those jerseys.
