After dropping Game 3 to the Miami Heat on Sunday, the Los Angeles Lakers will enter Game 4 on Tuesday night as 7.5-point favorites to win, according to BetMGM.
Playing without Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic, Miami held LeBron James and Anthony Davis to just 40 combined points in Game 3, which was down from the 62 points the two players averaged during each of the first two games.
Jimmy Butler recorded 40 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds during the victory and became just the third player in history to tally a 40-point triple-double in the NBA Finals, joining James (2015) and Jerry West (1969).
Team | Money Line | Spread | O/U |
Lakers | -313 | -7.5 | O 218.5 |
Heat | +250 | +7.5 | U 218.5 |
L.A. hasn’t had an answer for Butler thus far in the series as the five-time All-Star is averaging 29.3 points, 10.3 assists and seven rebounds over the first three games. The Lakers will need to make additional adjustments in that matchup in order to avoid the Heat evening the series in Game 4.
The Heat could get a huge boost after the team upgraded Adebayo from doubtful to questionable with a neck strain. Adebayo has missed the past two games after suffering the injury in Game 1 and said on Monday that he is day-to-day.
Game 4 is set to tip-off at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
