He appeared off the bench against Golden State and played 13 minutes.
Williams, a two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year for the Volunteers and first-round pick in the 2019 NBA draft, had three points and one rebound.
He was 1-for-2 from the field and 1-for-2 from beyond the 3-point arc.
The best-of-seven series is tied, 2-2.
Game No. 5 will take place Monday at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised by ABC.
