NBA fans react to Kevin Love’s stunning inbound turnover

Kevin Love seems like he’s ready for the 2020-21 season to be over.

It’s been a long season for the Cleveland Cavaliers and veteran big man Kevin Love, but that doesn’t explain his shockingly careless play in the third quarter that gifted the Toronto Raptors with an open 3-pointer.

With the Cavs down six in the final minute of the third quarter, an official tossed Love the ball so he could inbound it from under his own basket. Instead of catching the ball, though, a disinterested Love batted it out of the air and back onto the floor. Stanley Johnson made a heads-up play to go retrieve the ball, and passed to a wide-open Malachi Flynn for an easy triple. The Cavs went on to lose by 16.

What in the world was Kevin Love doing on this play? Fans couldn’t believe it:
