NBA fans react to Draymond Green’s controversial ejection

Draymond Green was ejected on Thursday night against the Knicks for… yelling at his own teammate.

The Warriors fell to the Knicks on Thursday night after losing Draymond Green to a controversial ejection in the first half.

Green earned a technical foul for arguing with a referee just before the end of the first quarter. Then, with just over a minute remaining before halftime and the Warriors trailing the Knicks in a close game, Green was whistled for his second technical foul after… yelling at rookie teammate James Wiseman. Green was calling out Wiseman for a botched play that resulted in a turnover, but the referee appeared to believe that Green was yelling at the officials. Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game that officials admitted to him that they mistakenly thought Green was yelling at them and mistakenly ejected Green for shouting a profanity.

The Knicks went on to win the game, 119-104.
