It was time for the Washington Wizards to trade Bradley Beal weeks ago.
Now? NBA fans are really calling for the Wiz to #FreeBradleyBeal and it’s got to happen.
Because it’s getting kind of absurd in Washington.
A day after he looked dejected on the bench in a loss to the Rockets, the NBA’s leading scorer poured in 47 points, four rebounds, six dimes and four steals … AND THE WIZARDS STILL GOT BLOWN OUT 124-106 to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Seriously. He’s doing all he can. Of course he’d feel frustrated. Check out this ridiculous stat fact courtesy of the Elias Sports Bureau:
Bradley Beal is the first player in NBA history to lose 10 straight games when recording at least 40 points.

And this quote? Man.
Bradley Beal was asked whether he's frustrated.
His answer was short and sweet: pic.twitter.com/GYZI5JVotF

Here are some NBA fans responding to the whole situation:
When you’re breaking a record from 1962, you hope it’s a good one. That is not the case for Bradley Beal #FreeBradleyBeal https://t.co/yfuLbSS70t

I agree. It’s time, Washington. You’ve got some young talent to build around and Beal would get a huge return. Do it.
