Projected first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft R.J. Hampton was pictured recently working out in the weight room with Memphis Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant.
Hampton posted a few pictures to his Instagram account, along with a few more to his story, on Monday of the two players working out with trainer U.J. Johnson.
Of course, Hampton is busy preparing for the NBA Draft, which has been tentatively set for Oct. 15. After showing potential following a season in the National Basketball League, Hampton is considered to be a mid first-round pick.
On the other hand, Morant and the Grizzlies are among the 22 teams that will travel to the Walt Disney World Resort to restart the 2019-20 season on July 30 near Orlando, Florida. The Grizzlies are in eighth place in the Western Conference and among the teams in the playoff picture.
