NBA All-Star 2022 delivered a big assist to Northeast Ohio’s economy. The event, which was held Feb. 18-20, provided the region with $141.4 million in direct spending and a total economic impact of $248.9 million, the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission announced on Tuesday, May 24. All-Star drew 121,641 attendees from 45 states and 24 countries and provided significant exposure for the city, generating more than $50 million in earned media value.
