Recruitment

It was a huge coup for Michigan to secure Worthy’s services over Alabama and Oregon. The speedy wideout runs an official 10.55 100-meter dash, and, at the time, was the fourth wideout to commit to the Wolverines back on July 10, 2020.

However, with uncertainty in Ann Arbor, despite a visit on his own dime, Worthy wasn’t set in his pledge. He visited Alabama for the Iron Bowl and came away impressed with what the Crimson Tide have to offer. He ultimately was set to make a final decision between Michigan and Alabama on signing day, and made his pledge official with the Wolverines on Wednesday.

Readiness Level

With his speed, Worthy could be a day one contributor for the maize and blue.
