Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson will be making his debut with his new team and going up against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks, in Week 1.
Wilson’s return to Seattle will be the storyline on Monday Night Football, but he won’t be the only one making a Bronco debut.
Denver coach Nathaniel Hackett has plenty of experience as an offensive coordinator in the NFL, but this season marks his first year as a head coach. Before Monday’s game against the Seahawks, Hackett was spotted running stadium stairs at Lumen Field.
George Stoia of The Gazette shared video of Hackett’s pre-game workout on Twitter:

Technically, it’s not his first game as head coach because Hackett coached three preseason games, but it is his first regular-season game.
Hackett also ran steps at Empower Field at Mile High before his first preseason game with the Broncos last month.
Hackett said last week that he won’t be nervous before his first game.
