The Colorado Buffaloes added a few more alums to the NFL ranks this spring. Carson Wells signed with the Cincinnati Bengals and Nate Landman signed a deal with the Atlanta Falcons after both players went undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft.
Landman has been making a ton of noise in Falcons training camp, and Buffs fans aren’t surprised one bit after he put together an impressive career in Boulder.
As the NFL season approaches and rosters start to get trimmed down, all eyes are on Landman. Will he make the roster or not?
It looks like he’s battling it out for Atlanta’s final spot in the linebacker’s room.
The Hammer battling for final spot in Atlanta's LB room. "Landman, an undrafted rookie out of Colorado, stood out in minicamp and has flashed in training camp. He's likely in competition with Etheridge for the final spot in the linebacker's room." #CUBuffs

Landman brings a ton of talent and college experience, and the Falcons’ young roster could allow him to breakout during his rookie season.

If Landman can make the roster, he should have a clear path to consistent playing time. The Falcons aren’t expected to win very many games this season, so perhaps the coaching staff takes a deep look at some of the rookies to see what the future holds for these players.
The Falcons play the Detroit Lions in a preseason game on Friday and we’ll be monitoring the usage of Landman.
