Nate Burleson makes ‘bold statement’ for Titans’ Ryan Tannehill, A.J. Brown

Burleson recently said the Titans had the best QB/RB/WR trio in the NFL.

Former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson, who is also one of the hosts of NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football”, is no stranger to saying making bold statements about the Tennessee Titans and their players.

Recently, Burleson made some waves for proclaiming the Titans’ offensive trio of Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown the best QB/RB/WR trio in the NFL.

While certainly not as controversial, Burleson made another “bold statement” for a pair of Titans players, saying that Tannehill and Brown would be the best QB/WR duo in the AFC South in 2020.

This would have been a lot bolder last season when DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson were still on the same team, however that is no longer the case, which opens things up for another duo to step in.

Perhaps if Will Fuller can stay healthy for a full 16 games or Brandin Cooks can return to form, the Texans might be able to reclaim the best duo.

Both the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars have question marks at the quarterback position in an aging Philip Rivers and an unproven Gardner Minshew, respectively, so neither team has a lock on the best duo.

As it stands now, Tannehill and Brown have only played 10 regular season games together, but with the uncertainty around the division at quarterback and wide receiver, Burleson is on the money with his statement.
