NASCAR has been inching closer to releasing its 2025 Cup Series schedule since May; however, the racing series has struggled to finalize everything to reveal the new calendar. A previous report said that NASCAR could be releasing its new Cup Series schedule soon, but the latest update appears to have NASCAR waiting even longer for next year’s races.
According to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass, NASCAR hoped to reveal the 2025 Cup Series schedule this week, but that won’t happen. The schedule could come next week or maybe later in the month. NASCAR is working to finalize everything needed to reveal the schedule, and the possibility of an international event could be one reason behind the delay.
Several rumors have circulated about NASCAR’s schedule, such as Daytona International Speedway returning to the final date of the regular season and Bowman Gray Stadium hosting the NASCAR Busch Light Clash. Hopefully, the racing world doesn’t have to wait much longer as NASCAR is nearing its announcement for the 2025 Cup Series calendar.
