NASCAR entered Phoenix Raceway riding the momentum from the sport’s first non-superspeedway of the new campaign. The Cup Series saw Kyle Larson hold off Kyle Larson at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for his first victory of the 2024 season. There wasn’t a thrilling moment like that at Phoenix because one driver stole the show.
At the end of the day, Christopher Bell dominated en route to his first win of the 2024 season at Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix.
.@FoxTV got 4.028 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix, up 19% from 3.389 million last year and the most-watched sports event of the weekend.

NASCAR and FOX earned 4.028 million average viewers for the Shriners Children’s 500 at Phoenix. It was up roughly 18.9% compared to the spring race at Phoenix in 2023. This was due to the momentum following a great start to the season and less competition on TV at the time. Overall, this is a big jump and one that NASCAR and FOX should love.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on Bristol Motor Speedway, as the fifth official weekend of the 2024 NASCAR season will soon be underway.
