NASCAR arrived at Iowa Speedway to start the NBC Sports portion of the season, and the excitement was through the roof. Kyle Larson looked to be the class of the field; however, Larson was involved in a wreck that ended his chances at competing. While William Byron and Chase Elliott each finished in the top 3 spots, it led to the Team Penske driver’s first win of 2024.
At the end of the night, Ryan Blaney held off Hendrick Motorsports for his first win of the 2024 NASCAR season. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the 2024 Iowa Corn 350 and Iowa.

NASCAR and NBC Sports earned 2.693 million average viewers for the 2024 Iowa Corn 350, which was the Cup Series’ inaugural race at Iowa. It was the most-watched sports program of the week on cable TV in the United States and the most-watched Cup Series race on cable since Pocono Raceway in July 2023. Overall, NBC Sports should be thrilled with this result.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on the USA TODAY 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, as the 18th NASCAR race weekend will soon be underway.
