The NASCAR Cup Series didn’t expect to begin the 2024 season on Saturday, February 3, but that was the case. NASCAR moved the Busch Light Clash to Saturday night due to the well-documented poor forecast in Los Angeles, California. It was a move that several NASCAR drivers applauded before the on-track action on Saturday.
Denny Hamlin benefited the most at the end of the night after sweeping the pole and main event at the 0.25-mile race track. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the 2024 Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum.
.@FS1 got 1.511 million viewers for Saturday night's Busch Light Clash, down from the first two editions that were held on Sundays on @FoxTV (2022: 4.283 million viewers | 2023: 3.647 million viewers).

NASCAR earned 1.551 million average viewers for the 2024 Busch Light Clash. It was down over two million average viewers; however, the sport did well considering the circumstances. It was good that FOX Sports 1 still earned as much as it did on Saturday night, as there were only four hours between the announcement and the main event.
Now, the Cup Series focuses its attention on Daytona International Speedway, as the official 2024 NASCAR season will be underway soon. It starts with NASCAR’s biggest event, the Daytona 500, which is under two weeks away.
