NASCAR entered Texas Motor Speedway after a solid weekend of racing in Virginia. Last week, the Cup Series saw William Byron beat his Hendrick Motorsports teammates at Martinsville Speedway en route to his third victory of the 2024 season. Unlike Martinsville, Texas featured more chaos and produced breathtaking racing.
At the end of the day, Chase Elliott beat the competition for his first win of the 2024 season at Texas on Sunday. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas.
.@FS1 got 2.310 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas; there's no direct comparison to last year since @TXMotorSpeedway was held during the playoffs in fall of 2023, but that event got 2.0 million viewers on @USANetwork. pic.twitter.com/kJ3LCTV3Eo

NASCAR and FOX Sports 1 earned 2.310 million average viewers for the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas, which doesn’t have a true comparison to 2023. Last year, the race was held in the fall as Texas hosted a playoff race. In 2024, NASCAR moved its one and only date to mid-April. Still, there was an increase from 2023 to 2024 for the race date.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on Talladega Superspeedway, as the 10th official weekend of the 2024 NASCAR season will soon be underway.
