NASCAR entered Talladega Superspeedway after a solid weekend of racing in Texas. Austin Cindric and Joey Logano won the first two stages, but there wasn’t much carnage until the last lap. Michael McDowell threw a bad block on Brad Keselowski, which sent the No. 34 car up the race track. However, Keselowski wasn’t the driver going to victory lane.
At the end of the day, Tyler Reddick survived the carnage for his first win of the 2024 season at Talladega on Sunday. After a slight overview of the notable moments, here are the NASCAR TV ratings following the GEICO 500 at Talladega.

NASCAR and FOX Sports 1 earned 4.307 million average viewers for the GEICO 500 at Talladega, which is down roughly five percent compared to last year’s event. Like 2023, NASCAR was up against the NBA playoffs, so there is an effect on the overall viewership. Still, NASCAR and FOX should be happy with the results on Sunday.
Now, the Cup Series is focusing its attention on Dover Motor Speedway, as the 11th official weekend of the 2024 NASCAR season will soon be underway.
