The NASCAR Cup Series entered Bristol Motor Speedway with the purpose of putting on a show for the Round of 16 finale and it certainly lived up to the hype. [autotag]Denny Hamlin[/autotag] was able to pull away from the victory despite teammate Christopher Bell winning the first two stages. Meanwhile, Kyle Larson finished in second place behind Hamlin.
As for other drivers, Joey Logano was eliminated from the 2023 Cup Series playoffs after a crash to begin the Final Stage. In his retirement season, Kevin Harvick also failed to advance after struggling with speed. To round out the Round of 16 eliminations, Michael McDowell and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. put up a good fight but came up short.
