World Wide Technology Raceway is next for the NASCAR Cup Series, and Front Row Motorsports will lead the field to the green flag. [autotag]Michael McDowell[/autotag] won the pole for the Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway this weekend. Austin Cindric will join McDowell on the front row for Sunday afternoon’s event. It is McDowell’s third pole position of the 2024 NASCAR season.

Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Chase Briscoe, Chris Buescher, Noah Gragson, Josh Berry, and Daniel Saurez all qualified 20th or worse for Sunday’s event. It was a smooth practice and qualifying day, with the only trouble being light sprinkles and a sunny track in the final round of qualifying.
