Pocono Raceway is next for the NASCAR Cup Series, and Joe Gibbs Racing will lead the field to the green flag. [autotag]Ty Gibbs[/autotag] won the pole for The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono this weekend. William Byron will join Gibbs on the front row for Sunday afternoon’s event. It is Gibbs’ second pole position of the 2024 NASCAR season.
Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Austin Cindric, Michael McDowell, Kyle Busch, Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe, and Bubba Wallace all qualified 20th or worse for Sunday’s event. This occurred as the track provided a tough challenge to competitors, with only three turns to maximize their starting position.
