Richmond Raceway is next for the NASCAR Cup Series, and Joe Gibbs Racing will lead the field to the green flag. [autotag]Denny Hamlin[/autotag] won the pole for the Cook Out 400 at Richmond this weekend. Martin Truex Jr. will join Hamlin on the front row for Sunday evening’s event. It is Hamlin’s third pole position of the 2024 NASCAR season.
Josh Berry and Chase Elliott will follow the two drivers on the second row. Most notably, Daniel Suarez, Ross Chastain, Chase Briscoe, Michael McDowell, and Brad Keselowski all qualified 20th or worse for Sunday’s event. This occurred as the track provided a tough challenge to competitors with changing conditions.
