NASCAR is set to end the 2023 season on Sunday afternoon when a new Cup Series champion is crowned at Phoenix Raceway. It will be an exciting weekend of racing as an Xfinity and Truck Series champion will also be named. However, there will be a very important press conference that will answer several questions on the minds of those who love the sport.
According to NASCAR, the sport will hold its annual “State of the Sport” address at 1:30 PM ET on Friday, November 3rd. NASCAR President Steve Phelps and NASCAR Chief Operating Officer Steve O’Donnell will be the prominent members of the sport available to the press as they ask the hard-hitting questions at Phoenix.

Last year, Phelps and O’Donnell discussed several subjects, such as the idea of racing internationally and the charter system. There are bound to be very interesting answers coming in 2023 as NASCAR continues to work on the charter and TV deals, plus more that take place within the sport.
