NASCAR’s first unofficial race of the 2024 season will come in Los Angeles, California, as the drivers and teams take on the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum for the third straight year. Over the last two years, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr. have won on the 0.25-mile track; however, it’s not the only action fans will enjoy during the event.
In 2022, NASCAR had Ice Cube in for a mid-race concert at the intermission while bringing in Wiz Khalifa last year. The sport has done a great job acquiring big-name music artists for its new event, and this year’s spectacle won’t be any different. In 2024, Machine Gun Kelly will perform at the “halftime” show, which will be on Sunday, February 4th.

Machine Gun Kelly is a GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum recording artist who is known for his alternative rock and hip hop. This is a major grab for NASCAR, which continues to show its ability to draw in major music artists for the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum. It’s a great sign that NASCAR’s appeal is noted across the music industry.
