NASCAR is set to arrive at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 30th weekend of the 2024 Xfinity Series season. It will be the second date for Las Vegas this season, as John Hunter Nemechek won the first race earlier in the year. This will be a crucial event as it represents the first Xfinity Series race in the Round of 8 during the NASCAR playoffs.

First, the Xfinity Series needs to qualify for the event at Las Vegas, and the qualifying format is simple. The session will be one round that features single-lap runs. The metric system determines the qualifying order, and the drivers go out from the worst to best ratings. Unlike the NASCAR Cup Series, there are no groups outside of superspeedways and road courses.
