NASCAR playoff picture, standings before second Round of 12 race in 2024

The NASCAR Cup Series entered Kansas Speedway for the first race in the Round of 12; however, zero playoff drivers earned a spot in the Round of 8. On Sunday, Ross Chastain won the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas for his first victory of the year. Chastain barely missed out on the playoffs, so his win doesn’t count toward the Round of 8.
