NASCAR playoff picture, standings before Round of 16 finale in 2024

Check out the NASCAR playoff picture as the Cup Series goes to Bristol Motor Speedway for the final race in the Round of 16!

The NASCAR Cup Series entered Watkins Glen International for the second race in the Round of 16; however, zero playoff drivers earned a spot in the Round of 12. On Sunday, Chris Buescher won the Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen for his first victory of the year. Buescher barely missed out on the playoffs, so his win doesn’t count toward the Round of 12.

Bristol Motor Speedway is next up on the schedule, and if the drama from Watkins Glen on Sunday translates to Tennessee, it will be a crazy Round of 16 finale. Below, we look at the current standings.
