NASCAR is fresh off an exciting weekend of racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where the sport saw Kyle Larson hold off Tyler Reddick for his first victory of the season. Now, the racing series is set for Phoenix Raceway. All NASCAR levels, except the Truck Series, will participate on track, so let’s take a closer look at the entry lists released for Phoenix.
In the Cup Series, there are no changes on the entry list outside of J.J. Yeley and NY Racing Team not attending the event. Kaz Grala (No. 15 for Rick Ware Racing) and Derek Kraus (No. 16 for Kaulig Racing) are the two drivers for the teams with no full-time driver and a charter. This is the first race of the season that doesn’t have more than 36 entries.
Notable entries for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway:

The Xfinity Series sees an influx of veteran drivers, with Aric Almirola and John Hunter Nemechek running for Joe Gibbs Racing. Most notably, Hendrick Motorsports makes its Xfinity Series debut in 2024, with William Byron driving the No. 17 car. Overall, one driver will not make the show with 39 entries at Phoenix.
The race weekend in Phoenix will begin on Friday, March 8. NASCAR is officially back on short tracks, and everyone is looking forward to the new package for the 2024 season.
