Myles Garrett wreaks havoc in first half vs. Steelers on Thursday Night Football

The Reigning Defensive Player of the Year is taking it personally.

Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns defense continue to show strength on Thursday Night Football with another forced turnover against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year has had a tremendous performance in the first half of this game. On a crucial responsive drive for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Garrett forced a fumble from quarterback Russell Wilson on second down. The ball was recovered by linebacker Winston Reid after Garrett and Wilson wrestled for the recovery. In the strong effort by the entire Cleveland Browns defense, Garrett has already collected three sacks along with the forced fumble.

The Browns have been able to shut down this rolling Steelers offense so far in this game. The Steelers, who are averaging 27.25 points per game since Russell Wilson took over, only have three points heading into halftime. We’ll see if the Cleveland defense and their leader, Myles Garrett, can have a similar performance in the second half.
