Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has earned the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for his strong October effort.
It’s a worthy honor for the NFL’s sack leader and most dominant defensive force. Garrett racked up six sacks, 11 solo tackles, four TFLs in the run game and forced two fumbles in Cleveland’s four games in October. The Browns won three of the four games in the month.
It’s the first time Garrett has won the honor for a full month. No. 95 has previously won AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors but has now expanded his resume to a full month of superlative play.
