Myles Garrett publicly postures for an answer from the Browns

Myles Garrett has taken to the media to let the Browns know he will not commit without knowing their plan at the quarterback position

All-Pro defensive end and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett has publicly called out the Cleveland Browns for answers.

Speaking to the media today, Garrett declined to commit to the future in Cleveland, stating he and the organization are going to have a chat about the state of the franchise and how they will handle their ongoing future.

Here is what Cleveland’s best player had to say:

“I’m not trying to rebuild. I’m trying to win right now. And I want that to be apparent when the season is over and we have those discussions. I want them to be able to illuminate, illustrate that for me so that can be something I can see in the near future. Because that’s all we want to do.”

The media then followed up and asked him if he specifically wanted answers on the quarterback position, and Garrett vehemently confirmed:

“Whether DTR is the solution or someone else is, it’s got to be drawn out. There’s got to be a plan of action …”

Make no mistake, Garrett is a smart man. He knows that if the Browns are going to hear an ultimatum and act, it has to be from him. Now we wait and see how the Browns handle their business this offseason.
