Multiple dunks punctuate a wild finish between LSU and Kentucky

Things went nuts over the final 23 seconds between the Wildcats and Tigers.

A lot can happen in the final seconds of a college basketball game, and the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats and No. 21 LSU Tigers proved it yet again on Tuesday night. The Tigers held a slim 61-60 lead with possession and just over 23 seconds remaining in the tight SEC contest. LSU went for the long outlet pass on the inbounds play from the sideline, but potential SEC Player of the Year candidate Oscar Tshiebwe intercepted it.

Tshiebwe’s pass went awry, barely saved by a teammate, but the subsequent save attempt was also picked off. Tari Eason’s emphatic dunk gave LSU a three point lead — and ruined the night for everyone that took Kentucky +2.5 at Tipico Sportsbook — with 14 seconds left.

As Kentucky brought it up the court to try and tie to force overtime, Xavier Pinson poked the ball free and capped it all off with a reverse dunk. You have to see it to believe it:
