MSU star WR Jayden Reed reportedly has been battling injuries, but back practicing again

Arguably the Spartans’ best player has been battling injuries this past month.

Freshman quarterback Katin Houser revealed on Thursday that star wide receiver and return game specialist Jayden Reed has been “in and out with injuries” this month. Houser also noted that Reed is back practicing now for the Spartans.

Below is the full exchange from Houser — courtesy of Detroit Free Press beat writer Chris Solari:

Houser didn’t reveal what kind of injuries Reed has been battling so this could be simply nothing to worry about — but it also could be a bigger deal knowing the importance Reed plays on offense and special teams.

There hasn’t been any other reports on Reed’s injury status besides this note from Houser and I doubt we will get any more details. I also would bet that this is the last time Houser speaks with the media this year as the coaching staff doesn’t like sharing any injury news.
